We are The House of Münch. We envoke the dragon. We are watched over by the Draco Constellation. We live by the credo "Fide, Sapientiae, Animo, Mirantibus."
Proclamate
It is on this day, the 25th of December, in the year of our Lord, Two thousand and Twenty, that the House of Münch Proclaims that the “Münch Dragon” shall grace the Coat of Arms and Family Crest as a symbol of loyalty, wisdom, courage, and wonder. Furthermore, the House of Münch provides, in these pages, a pedigree that traces Their Family bloodline as far back as the Ninth Century, to Gange Rolf Rollo, the first Duke of Normandy. From The First Duke of Normandy, the two royal lineages of both England and France were sired. Though the House of Münch lays claim to the ancient bloodline of The First Duke of Normandy by using both the royal English and French lineages, these pages shall put forth only the English bloodline as the House’s prime “Claim to Pedigree” evidence. This is due to the ruling of the House Research Chair who states, “The English line, as opposed to the French line, provides a clearer, more succinct model with which to understand the lineage of the House of Münch.” Decided unanimously by the nuclear members of the Münch Family, all present and future members of the House of Münch shall strive to live by the Credo “Fide, Sapientiae, Animo, Mirantibus” (Loyalty, Wisdom, Courage, Wonder.) It shall be the duty of all members of The House of Münch, to uphold the honor and dignity, encompassing this family name. Each member of the House of Münch solidified with the Family Seal, shall uphold such pillars throughout their life, and strive to advance the status of this house by means that align with the Credo of the House of Münch.
Patron Animal: The Münch Dragon
Just as the dragon’s name precedes it, so too does the Münch name precede its carrier. Just as the dragon soars above its adversity, The House of Münch rises above its opposers. Just as the Dragons fire destroys its enemies, the Münch reputation dismantles falsities. Just as the dragon is fiercely loyal to its kind, the House of Münch is loyal to all its members. Just as the dragon inspires wonder, the House of Münch lives by wonder. Just as the dragon is wise in it's years, The House of Münch aspires to wisdom. Just as the dragon roars it's courage in the sky, The House of Münch advances with courage. Just as the dragon commands respect and honor, The House of Münch is respected wherever it lands.
Patron Constellation
Draco is a constellation in the far northern sky. Its name is Latin for dragon. It was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy and remains one of the 88 modern constellations today. The north pole of the ecliptic is in Draco.[1] Draco is circumpolar (that is, never setting), and can be seen all year from northern latitudes. Always above us. Never setting. The Münch Dragon watches over us always.
